Have you guys seen the new prius ad? I think it’s a great marketing idea. It’s well known among drivers that a prius driver is (at no fault of there own) going to lose a 0-60 race to a fully loaded semi truck, these cars are slow and I’m sure we’ve all been stuck behind a slow prius driver. I’m sure the people at Toyota were also aware and made an ad admiting to this and boasting how the new one is “quick” perhaps intentionally choosing not to use the word fast. This car will not perform well on the track or for more extreme driving, but for the everyday communte this car will at least make merging on the freeway at a speed consistent with the traffic a likely possibilty. An improvement to the previous prius models.
