This is probably the last time I’m doing this format unless the song is new, and I listened to it alot that week, just don’t see a point in writing about older song that have been well publisized. This week I went with Tu me acostumbraste by Luis Miguel. The first time I am choosing a Spanish song. I really love this song because it reminds me of my Grandfather who grew up in Cuba. He died when I was little and I have very few memories of him but one of the stronger ones was him singing this song at a very popular resturant in Miami on night during a family dinner, apparantly this was something he would do a lot and it was actually a song I did end up singing and listining to a lot this week and I absolutly adore it. In the song the singer is talking about a recent break up where he felt hung up to dry asking him self how come you never showed me how I to live with out you? A feeling I’m sure many of us are familiar with, trying to find ourselves again after a break up can often be difficult and time consuming. Not only is this song nostalgic to me but Luis Miguel delivers a great vocal performance in the song, and the song delivers feelings of melacholy and yearning for a love that is lost.
